Problems Solved
Consumers at large who want a healthier lifestyle and want to buy organic products, have expectations about their quality and rely on certifying organizations to verify this quality as well as to provide information about the origin of organic products. However in reality the industry is plagued with major issues of organic labeling, certification fraud, and concerns about the transparency of food information. So consumers want to know: Is it actually organic and safe or is it laced with harmful pesticides? When was it harvested? Is it really from where it claims to be? Consumers need more awareness about the benefits of organic food. Why Is the high price justified? In the Organic industry brands and farmers need more avenues to sell their products in a more efficient and faster manner. Organic product Recalls are also damaging the industry's reputation.
